Mikron3 Junior – Portable Acoustic Water Leak Pinpointing System Mikron3 Junior is a lightweight, easy-to-use acoustic system designed for quick and accurate water leak pinpointing across remote and hard-to-access pipeline networks. It is an ideal solution for utilities managing ageing infrastructure where rapid leak detection is essential to reduce water loss and operational costs. Using optimised acoustic sensing technology, the system detects leak noise directly on fittings (valves, hydrants) and through the ground surface. Mikron3 Junior offers both pre-location and precise leak pinpointing, supported by interchangeable sensors: listening rod, ground microphone and accelerometer.

The Mikron Mini is a simple-to-use acoustic leak listening system with very high acoustic sensitivity, designed to detect water leak noise at pipe fittings and through the ground surface. It is intended for rapid listening and locating leaks by listening directly at accessible water fittings such as valves and hydrants

Hydrophone 2 is an advanced leak noise sensor that delivers proven, significantly improved performance on plastic pipelines and trunk mains. Extremely sensitive and ideal for detecting low-frequency leak noise, Hydrophone 2 excels in challenging conditions, including large-diameter and non-metallic pipelines.

HWM PermaNET Trunk Main (TM) – Permanent Leak Monitoring for Trunk Mains PermaNET Trunk Main (TM) is an advanced solution for continuous leak monitoring on trunk mains and large-diameter pipelines. It is designed for critical water infrastructure where high reliability, precision, and real-time visibility are essential. By combining high-sensitivity acoustic sensors, support for external hydrophones (Hydrophone 2), and GPS time synchronisation, PermaNET TM enables effective leak detection and correlation over long distances, including plastic and other non-metallic pipelines.

High-sensitivity hydrophones are designed for leak detection in pressurised water mains using the acoustic correlation method. The sensors capture leak noise transmitted through the water column and deliver a precise signal to the correlator for analysis. Fully compatible with Ovarro correlators (Eureka2, Eureka3, Eureka5), hydrophones enable accurate leak position calculation based on advanced signal processing. Hydrophones are typically installed on hydrants or dedicated access points, ensuring direct acoustic contact with the water column inside the pipe. Using correlation technology, leak localisation can be achieved over long distances: Up to approximately 2 km in metallic pipelines Up to 600–800 metres in polyethylene (PE) pipelines (depending on pipe diameter, internal pressure, background noise levels and site conditions) This makes hydrophones particularly effective for large diameter transmission mains and long-distance correlation applications.

Next-Generation Correlating Logger System for Large-Scale Leak Detection EnigmaREACH is Ovarro’s latest-generation correlating acoustic logger system designed for large-scale water network leak detection. It combines mass logger deployment with advanced cloud analytics to automatically identify leak locations — without the need for manual data processing. The system uploads data to the Atrium analytics platform, where correlations are performed automatically and Points of Interest (PoIs) are generated. These can be assigned directly to field technicians via the intuitive mobile app, significantly reducing analyst workload and accelerating DMA investigations. A single 64-logger EnigmaREACH kit can monitor up to 14 km of pipeline (depending on logger spacing), delivering more than double the coverage of traditional lift-and-shift approaches with fewer loggers.
