The system operates with a safe 5% hydrogen and 95% nitrogen gas mixture, which is non-flammable, non-toxic, and environmentally safe. The tracer gas is injected into the water pipe through a hydrant or service connection, travels with the water flow, and escapes at the leak point. ST20 LISTENING STICK High-performance mechanical acoustic tool for leak detection The ST20 Listening Stick is a robust, high-sensitivity mechanical listening instrument designed for fast and accurate water leak detection on external water distribution networks.
