RadarSens – Intrinsically Safe Radar Level Sensor

RadarSens is an intrinsically safe radar level monitoring system designed for continuous wastewater and sewer network applications. Certified for use in hazardous Zone 0 environments, the device provides accurate, reliable level measurement without contact with the medium. Using advanced radar sensing technology combined with cellular telemetry (NB-IoT, LTE-M and 2G), RadarSens delivers real-time data transmission and long-term monitoring performance in harsh underground environments. The system is engineered for fast, right-first-time deployment. It can be installed using stainless-steel non-drill brace bars or conventional wall brackets, reducing installation time and eliminating the need for intrusive mounting. An optional laser alignment tool ensures correct positioning during installation. Local configuration is carried out via Bluetooth using the Deployment App (Android/iOS). Installers can verify signal strength, perform sensor reflection checks and upload site data, including photographs, ensuring data quality before leaving site and significantly reducing follow-up visits.

ATEX Certified Digital Float Sensor

SpillSens is a cost-effective, multi-level digital float sensor designed as an early warning system for sewer blockages and overflows. ATEX Zone 0 certified and built for harsh wastewater environments, it provides continuous level monitoring using digital positioning technology. Installed at a critical height within a chamber, SpillSens constantly monitors its tilt angle to determine whether it is hanging vertically (normal condition) or beginning to float due to rising wastewater levels. When pre-set tilt thresholds are reached, alarm notifications are transmitted via a connected data logger to the SpillGuard online portal. SpillSens supports Incident Prevention Monitoring programmes and helps utilities reduce pollution events, clean-up costs and regulatory penalties.

Ultrasonic Level Sensor

SonicSens 3 is an intrinsically safe ultrasonic level sensor designed for wastewater and sewer network monitoring. Using intelligent ultrasonic technology, the sensor delivers highly accurate level measurements without making contact with the medium, reducing contamination risk and minimising maintenance requirements. SonicSens 3 is ideal for Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Event Duration Monitoring, surcharge detection and incident prevention. It records event occurrence, time and duration, supporting regulatory compliance and proactive network management. ATEX (Zone 0) certified, SonicSens 3 is suitable for hazardous environments. When paired with the ATEX Battery Pack, it supports accelerated sampling and increased dial-in frequency while maintaining up to five years of battery life.

Roediger Vacuum Sewer System Controller

The Roediger® Compact Controller Type 38 is a reliable pneumatic control unit designed for use in vacuum sewer systems. It automatically controls the opening and closing cycles of vacuum valves, ensuring efficient and reliable wastewater transport through the vacuum drainage network. The controller operates entirely pneumatically using vacuum pressure, without the need for electrical power or electronic components. This makes the system extremely robust, reliable, and suitable for operation in harsh environments, including wet or submerged conditions. The Roediger Compact Controller precisely manages the operating cycles of the vacuum exhaust valve. When wastewater enters the collection chamber, the controller activates the valve opening and keeps it open until all wastewater has been evacuated. The valve closes only after the wastewater has been completely discharged and the subsequent airflow has passed through the system.

Roediger® 65 mm Membrane Vacuum Valve

The Roediger® 65 mm membrane vacuum valve is a key component of vacuum sewer systems, ensuring reliable and efficient wastewater transport within the vacuum pipeline network. The valve functions as the interface between the gravity collection system and the vacuum sewer network, automatically controlling the discharge of wastewater into the system. This technology has been proven in operation for more than 40 years and is used in thousands of vacuum sewer installations worldwide. Its compact design, high flow capacity and simple maintenance make it a reliable solution for municipal infrastructure, industrial areas and challenging installation environments.
