Ultrasonic Industrial Water Meters with AQ Logger provide a professional solution for accurate water consumption and flow measurement with remote data transmission in water distribution networks and industrial applications. Available in a wide range from DN15 to DN800, the solution combines ultrasonic metering technology with the AQ Logger, providing two-way communication, local Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and optional connection of pressure and temperature sensors. The AQ system can work with ultrasonic water meters and flow meters from different manufacturers and accuracy classes, tested for compatibility with the AQ system. AQ Logger can also be connected to compatible meters already installed and operating in the network, making it suitable for upgrading existing infrastructure. Battery operation exceeds 7 years, with battery replacement available. Internal or external antenna options, as well as mains and solar power solutions, are also available. High-sensitivity hydrophones are designed for leak detection in pressurised water mains using the acoustic correlation method. The sensors capture leak noise transmitted through the water column and deliver a precise signal to the correlator for analysis. Fully compatible with Ovarro correlators (Eureka2, Eureka3, Eureka5), hydrophones enable accurate leak position calculation based on advanced signal processing. Hydrophones are typically installed on hydrants or dedicated access points, ensuring direct acoustic contact with the water column inside the pipe. Using correlation technology, leak localisation can be achieved over long distances: Up to approximately 2 km in metallic pipelines Up to 600–800 metres in polyethylene (PE) pipelines (depending on pipe diameter, internal pressure, background noise levels and site conditions) This makes hydrophones particularly effective for large diameter transmission mains and long-distance correlation applications.
