The Roediger® Compact Controller (KPS) Type 38 is a pneumatic control device designed for automatic operation of vacuum sewer valves. The controller independently manages the opening and closing of the Roediger vacuum exhaust valve using vacuum pressure.
In standby mode, the controller ventilates the vacuum valve, keeping it closed. When a predefined fill level is reached, the controller supplies the valve with negative pressure, initiating the opening process. The valve remains open for an adjustable time period, allowing wastewater to be fully discharged from the collection chamber.
Once the preset time has elapsed and the wastewater has been completely evacuated, the controller ventilates the valve again, causing it to close automatically. This controlled cycle ensures optimal operation of the vacuum drainage system and minimizes unnecessary air consumption.
The controller includes an integrated pressure limiter, preventing false triggering caused by pressure fluctuations within the system. The valve opening time is adjustable, allowing the system to be adapted to different installation conditions and wastewater loads.
The Roediger Compact Controller complies with EN 16932, the European standard for vacuum sewer systems, and has been tested for a minimum of 300,000 operating cycles, ensuring long-term reliability.
The unit is designed for operation in extremely demanding environments and can be installed either above or below water level.
