Roediger® Vacuum Sewer Systems

Roediger® is one of the world’s leading developers and manufacturers of vacuum sewer systems, with more than 50 years of experience in designing innovative wastewater collection solutions. The company is known for high-quality technologies that ensure reliable, efficient and sustainable wastewater transport even in challenging environments.

Roediger® vacuum sewer systems are used in locations where conventional gravity sewer systems are difficult or costly to install. These systems are particularly suitable for areas with high groundwater levels, flat terrain, coastal zones, historic city centres and locations with complex geological conditions.

The system operates using a central vacuum station and specially designed vacuum valves that control wastewater flow through pipelines using negative pressure. This technology allows the use of smaller diameter pipes, reduces excavation work and significantly lowers construction costs.

Roediger® systems are known for their reliability, low energy consumption and simple operation. They are widely used in municipal infrastructure, industrial facilities, ports, airports and tourism developments around the world.

Today, Roediger® vacuum sewer technology represents a modern and sustainable solution for wastewater management, helping to reduce infrastructure costs while improving environmental protection and system reliability.

Roediger Vacuum Sewer System Controller

The Roediger® Compact Controller Type 38 is a reliable pneumatic control unit designed for use in vacuum sewer systems. It automatically controls the opening and closing cycles of vacuum valves, ensuring efficient and reliable wastewater transport through the vacuum drainage network. The controller operates entirely pneumatically using vacuum pressure, without the need for electrical power or electronic components. This makes the system extremely robust, reliable, and suitable for operation in harsh environments, including wet or submerged conditions. The Roediger Compact Controller precisely manages the operating cycles of the vacuum exhaust valve. When wastewater enters the collection chamber, the controller activates the valve opening and keeps it open until all wastewater has been evacuated. The valve closes only after the wastewater has been completely discharged and the subsequent airflow has passed through the system.

Roediger® 65 mm Membrane Vacuum Valve

The Roediger® 65 mm membrane vacuum valve is a key component of vacuum sewer systems, ensuring reliable and efficient wastewater transport within the vacuum pipeline network. The valve functions as the interface between the gravity collection system and the vacuum sewer network, automatically controlling the discharge of wastewater into the system. This technology has been proven in operation for more than 40 years and is used in thousands of vacuum sewer installations worldwide. Its compact design, high flow capacity and simple maintenance make it a reliable solution for municipal infrastructure, industrial areas and challenging installation environments.
