The Roediger® membrane vacuum valve is designed to control the discharge of wastewater from the collection chamber into the vacuum pipeline. The valve opens automatically when a predefined liquid level is reached in the collection chamber, allowing the vacuum pressure in the pipeline to transport wastewater towards the central vacuum station.
The valve design ensures full opening, minimizing hydraulic losses and enabling high flow velocities for efficient wastewater transport. This contributes to optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
The membrane valve is available in several nominal sizes – 40 mm, 50 mm, 65 mm and 75 mm – allowing systems to be optimally designed according to the required wastewater flow rates.
The valve is fully encapsulated in a protective housing, ensuring reliable operation even under flooded conditions. The encapsulated design protects the rubber components from external forces and environmental impact.
The valve construction is intentionally simple and robust, consisting of only a few durable components made of corrosion-resistant materials. Importantly, no mechanical moving parts are located in the wastewater flow, which significantly improves operational reliability.
Key Technical Advantages
