High-sensitivity hydrophones are designed for leak detection in pressurised water mains using the acoustic correlation method. The sensors capture leak noise transmitted through the water column and deliver a precise signal to the correlator for analysis. Fully compatible with Ovarro correlators (Eureka2, Eureka3, Eureka5), hydrophones enable accurate leak position calculation based on advanced signal processing. Hydrophones are typically installed on hydrants or dedicated access points, ensuring direct acoustic contact with the water column inside the pipe. Using correlation technology, leak localisation can be achieved over long distances: Up to approximately 2 km in metallic pipelines Up to 600–800 metres in polyethylene (PE) pipelines (depending on pipe diameter, internal pressure, background noise levels and site conditions) This makes hydrophones particularly effective for large diameter transmission mains and long-distance correlation applications.

Next-Generation Correlating Logger System for Large-Scale Leak Detection EnigmaREACH is Ovarro’s latest-generation correlating acoustic logger system designed for large-scale water network leak detection. It combines mass logger deployment with advanced cloud analytics to automatically identify leak locations — without the need for manual data processing. The system uploads data to the Atrium analytics platform, where correlations are performed automatically and Points of Interest (PoIs) are generated. These can be assigned directly to field technicians via the intuitive mobile app, significantly reducing analyst workload and accelerating DMA investigations. A single 64-logger EnigmaREACH kit can monitor up to 14 km of pipeline (depending on logger spacing), delivering more than double the coverage of traditional lift-and-shift approaches with fewer loggers. Data Logger for Flow and Pressure Monitoring This data logger is designed for continuous flow and pressure monitoring in water supply networks. The device can be connected to a water meter pulse output as well as to a ½” pressure connection, allowing accurate recording of system parameters. The logger provides 24/7 monitoring of flow and pressure, enabling operators to detect changes in the network, increased water consumption or potential system faults at an early stage. The device can be configured with various alarm and notification settings, and can also generate daily reports on actual flow and pressure conditions within the network. The logger is primarily intended for water utilities, but it can also be effectively used in smaller water supply systems or industrial water networks.
