Single Gas – Personal Safety Gas Analyzer for Hazardous Working Environments
Single Gas is a professional, compact and durable single-gas analyzer developed for personal worker protection in environments where hazardous gases or insufficient oxygen levels may be present.
Depending on the selected version, the device provides continuous monitoring of one specific gas:
- O₂: 0–30% – monitoring of oxygen concentration
- H₂S: 0–100 ppm – detection of hydrogen sulfide
- CO: 0–300 ppm – detection of carbon monoxide
Personal safety in hazardous environments
Single Gas is designed to be carried by the worker during daily operations. It continuously monitors the surrounding atmosphere and immediately warns the user when the programmed warning threshold is reached.
For maximum worker awareness, the device provides three types of warning simultaneously: audible warning of at least 95 dB, bright LED visual indication and vibration.
This makes the device particularly suitable for noisy, poorly illuminated and demanding working environments.
Typical applications
Single Gas is suitable for professionals working in environments where hazardous gases or oxygen deficiency may occur, including:
water and wastewater utilities, sewer systems, technical chambers and manholes, industrial facilities, gas infrastructure, firefighting and emergency services, maintenance and service operations.
Depending on the specific workplace risk, the appropriate O₂, H₂S or CO version can be selected.
Simple operation and safety checks
The device is designed for straightforward everyday use with minimal maintenance requirements. A full functional self-test is performed upon activation and every 20 hours, while the battery is continuously monitored automatically.
Regular bump tests can be performed to verify that the sensor and warning functions respond correctly to test gas.
With the optional Esders IR communication module, warning thresholds and user settings can be configured, while event logs and recorded data can be downloaded for documentation and analysis.
The device stores the latest 25 events, including warning conditions, self-tests, date and time, remaining operational life and the highest measured gas concentration.
Built for professional use
Single Gas weighs only 76 g and features IP66/67 protection. Depending on the selected sensor, it can operate at temperatures down to –40°C and up to +50°C.
The operational life is up to 2 years, with an 18-month manufacturer warranty from activation.
The device is certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres according to:
ATEX II 1G Ex ia IIC T4 Ga
IECEx Ex ia IIC T4
Single Gas provides a simple and reliable personal safety solution whenever continuous monitoring of one specific hazardous gas or oxygen concentration is required, giving workers an immediate warning when working conditions become unsafe.
