Warranty
The warranty for equipment provided by SIA Ipars takes effect from the date of purchase and remains valid for twenty-four (24) months for private individuals and twelve (12) months for legal entities.
All warranty obligations are fulfilled in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia, including the Consumer Rights Protection Law and Cabinet Regulation No. 631 “Regulations on the conformity of goods and services with the terms of the contract.”
The warranty is applicable only if the equipment has been installed and operated in full compliance with the manufacturer’s technical documentation, used under appropriate environmental and safety conditions, and installed by a certified specialist who meets the requirements of Latvian construction standards and relevant professional certifications.
In cases where the customer has installed the equipment independently, the warranty remains valid only if the customer can present an invoice or confirmation proving that the installation was carried out by a certified installer registered in the Construction Information System (BIS), a certified electrician in cases involving electrical connections, and a licensed refrigeration technician or company holding a valid F-gas handling license issued by the State Environmental Service.
If such documentation is not presented, the company reserves the right to decline warranty coverage, as compliance with applicable safety and quality requirements cannot be verified.
The warranty does not apply in cases where damage has resulted from mechanical or electrical impact, improper installation, unapproved servicing, external environmental influences such as voltage fluctuations, moisture or frost, or unauthorized modifications to the equipment.
For services provided by SIA Ipars—including installation, assembly, and diagnostics—the warranty takes effect from the date the service is fully completed and confirmed by the client as received.
The warranty period for services is twenty-four (24) months from the date of completion and applies to the quality, functionality, and compliance of the performed works with applicable legal and technical standards.
This warranty does not apply if defects or failures result from the client’s own actions, third-party interference, unsuitable operating conditions, or unlicensed alterations.
SIA Ipars maintains an active civil liability insurance policy with coverage up to EUR 500,000, ensuring protection against potential damages that may arise during its operations or from the performance of services, thus providing additional assurance and safety for clients.
In the event of a warranty claim, clients are requested to contact SIA Ipars by email, specifying the date of purchase or service, the corresponding invoice or delivery note number, and providing a clear description of the defect and the circumstances under which it occurred. Where possible, photo or video documentation should be included to expedite the evaluation process.
All warranty claims are reviewed within five (5) working days from the date of receipt. Additional information may be requested if necessary to ensure an objective evaluation and efficient resolution. Each warranty case is assessed individually, and all decisions are made in compliance with Latvian legislation, manufacturer warranty terms, and SIA Ipars internal quality standards.
