Description

AQ IoT Insertable Flow Meter is an innovative and patented Aqualink Systems flow measurement solution designed for central water supply networks. The device is suitable for DN80–DN500 pipelines and can be installed on plastic, metal, and concrete pipes.

 

The main advantage of the flow meter is fast installation on existing infrastructure without shutting down the pipeline or interrupting the water supply. Using hot-tapping technology, installation can be completed in less than 30 minutes.

The AQ IoT Flow Sensor provides:

  • bidirectional flow measurement,
  • pressure and temperature monitoring,
  • real-time data collection,
  • extremely high accuracy even at very low flows.

The hybrid technology continuously records every propeller rotation instead of using only interval-based measurements. This allows faster detection of:

  • hidden water leaks,
  • flow changes,
  • pipe bursts and emergency situations,
  • abnormal network behaviour.

Each device is tested on an accredited measuring line with seven-point calibration, ensuring accuracy below ±3% and minimum flow rates below 0.019 m/s.

The device is designed for long-term operation and serviceability. Recalibration and maintenance can be performed when required.
